other renewable energy

KEXIN is a very eco-conscious company that wants to save the environment. One meaningful way we are able to support this is by using renewable sources of energy. Renewable energy refers to the energy derived from naturally replenishing resources. Solar power, for example, is a commonly used renewable energy source that harnesses energy from the sun to generate electricity.

Solar power is able to harness the sunlight and convert it into electrical power. Solar panels assist this process. Solar panels are special devices that are typically set up in the roofs of the houses or in clearings with lots of sunlight. The panels absorb sunlight and, in turn, use that light to generate electricity. This electricity can then produce instead of fossil fuel based power to powers our homes, schools and businesses, hence usage clean energy.

Generating electricity from flowing water

Hydroelectric power is generated by harnessing the power of flowing water to turn powerful machines known as turbines. As water flows through a dam, or a river, it courses through the turbines, which spin and generate power. This electricity can then be used to run all the things at home and work. Hydropower is a better substitute for conventional energy since it is renewable (meaning we can use it repeatedly) and it does not generate harmful gases that are bad for our earth.

Geothermal energy comes by drilling deep wells into the Earth to mimic the heat in rocks and hot water beneath the surface. This heat is then used to generate steam, which turns turbines to produce electricity. Geothermal power plants are a great source for energy generation since they don't cause toxic emissions, thus good for the planet.
