rice straw gasification

Gasification.A specific process that takes organic waste and converts it into gases which can be utilized for energy production. The organic ways are the waste that includes residual plants, food leftovers and natural materials. It is a cleaner method as opposed to fossil fuels like coal or oil that can harm our planet by releasing bad gases in the air. These gases are related to the climate change that is affecting on our environment.

The rice straw is what farmers have left when they harvest the grains of rice, which are collected from sites like this oneACING / Istock. Farmers typically burn the straw in fields, a practice that contributes to air pollution. Air pollution occurs when any harmful gases, dust or smoke makes their way into the atmosphere and creates a threat to man. But using up-to-date gasification technology we can convert this rice straw into clean energy instead having to throw it away and contaminate the environment. This is a lot better solution!

Gasification of Rice Straw

Gasification is when rice straw is heated in a kind of abstract space, where oxygen levels are very low. This is significant because the straw can degrade into gases, doing so without igniting on fire. Then it create a gas vapors because of which syngas is made. The synthesis gas is a mixture of carbon monoxide, hydrogen and methane. Very little waste is produced with this gas mixture, and at the same time we can use syngas to generate heat and electricity that runs our homes or schools. These processes can also be used to help produce other products, like fuels or chemicals that arejust what many industries needs.
